ZGate Values

Here at ZionÕs Gate, it is our desire to share some of our values and clarify our goals as a church and the culture we aspire to develop. We know that we cannot change the culture around us without first changing the culture inside of us. So we emphasize these 10 themes in our house:

10 Cultural Themes:

¥ Goodness of God

¥ Culture of Salvation

¥ Culture of Joy & Hope

¥ Culture of Grace & Empowerment

¥ Culture of Valuing His Presence

¥ Culture of Risk & Faith

¥ Culture of Honor

¥ Culture of the Supernatural

¥ Culture of the Prophetic

¥ Culture of Generosity

We're not just talking about a theory, a concept or a principle but a culture that has been tested and lived out in the environment of local community and city life. A model that can infiltrate any system and bring the reality of King Jesus...

¥ HIS presence

¥ HIS power

¥ HIS order

¥ HIS government structure

¥ HIS method of life

¥ HIS method of honor

Listed are some of our values and aspirations:

1. We Love and value the Grace of God - Grace is not a doctrine - It is the person of Jesus

2. We refuse to mingle Grace with the Law or any kind of Legalism or legalistic teaching, training or behavior

3. We are completely and totally free from ALL condemnation - and have been made righteous by the blood of Jesus -We operate and live out of the newness of His life continuously

4. We honor the Holy Spirit and allow for His freedom to move according to His desire

5. We honor the past and those who have gone before us - but we don't live in it.

6. We live in the present with our eyes on the future.

7. We see past events - successes and failures - as stepping stones not stop signs.

8. We pursue learning in order to be transformed, not learning in order to know.

9. We love the Word of God and place a high value on knowing the Word - but we love the God of the Word more

10. We are people of engagement

11. We love the lost, the wounded, the hurting, the sick, the needy, and those who do not believe the same as us

12. We focus on what God has done and what He is doing and not on what He hasnÕt done

13. We are not limited to the four walls of a building. Our influence is not restricted by location - Not even the nations are out of bounds.

14. We are more concerned about how many we send out into the world than how many we convince to come into the building. The building is meant to be filled and it will be - but it will not be the measure of who we are or the measure of our effectiveness.

15. We are a people of our destiny, not of our history.

16. We have decided that it is better to fail while reaching for the impossible that God has planned for us than to succeed settling for less.

17. We agree with Jesus that nothing short of His Kingdom come, His will be done in our world as it is in Heaven is as Heavens mandate.

This is the journey or path in which we have decided to follow -

It is a path of liberty, freedom, and healing. On this path you find significance, purpose, and destiny. - it is not a path only available to a select few - but to whosoever will - may come.

- It is for people of every nation, tribe and tongue -for those in any occupation or vocation.

No matter where you are in your life journey There is room on this path for you

ZionÕs Gate Church is a family member of the Global Legacy Network

The Global Legacy Network

Global Legacy (GL) is an apostolic, relational network of revival leaders whose purpose is to bring Heaven to earth (Matt. 6:10). Following the New Testament model for apostleship, GL seeks to establish Kingdom government and to build empowering cultures. Recognizing that relationship is the foundation of God's government, GL helps build relationships between revival leaders by developing and sharing resources, through relational gatherings at conferences, ministry events and mission trips, as well as through the internet. GL also offers resources that equip leaders, and those they lead, to transform their spheres of influence and surrounding culture into Kingdom cultures. By utilizing our growing resources and relationships, Global Legacy is dedicated to helping fulfill the mission of Bethel Church, which is REVIVAL: The personal, regional, and global expansion of God's kingdom through His manifest presence! As GL works to carry out this mission, we recognize the importance of remaining an emerging wineskin. As Bill Johnson teaches, "it's all about the wine (God's presence)," and the wineskin must remain flexible in order to receive, carry, and pour out the wine in whatever way God chooses to come today and tomorrow.
